Mollini Helga pumps in taupeWhile I’m not too crazy about the silly lace thingie popping out of the back of this Mollini shoe, I fell in love with the colour and the texture of the lace covered satin. The stupid frill folds in easily and the shoes are a nice everyday office heel to spice up an otherwise tame outfit.

Cilla & Pepe SleepwearNow how delightful and decadent are these? I visited Dirty Pretty Things and treated myself to the little black silk robe (far right image) and have pranced around the house in it ever since. Because it’s pure silk, its soft against the skin and warms even on a cooler late autumn morning.

Now of course I couldn’t just wear this lovely robe without satin marabou slippers, now could I? For some reason it seems impossible to find a pair that doesn’t have clear stripper heel in Australia.

Have no fear, I bumped into this fantastic little online store called Baby Girl Boutique. Not only do they stock everything a pin-up girl might need, they are very, very fast! I got my wonderful little package in three days!

Not only did my wonderful man get me the hottest pair of heels for Valentine’s Day, he got me this super snappy vintage-ish Review suit to go with them.

Aren’t they dreamy? My wonderful man got these for me for Valentine’s Day. Now can you think of anything more romantic than a an utterly sexy pair of stiletto heels?

Black patent pumps by French Connection

Aren’t they gorgeous? I’ve been coveting nude patent pumps for ages, and what could be a better excuse to treat myself to a pair than my birthday coming up?

I’ve been on a lookout for a new pair of black heels for several months and finally found these from Mollini today. Aren’t they gorgeous in their simplicity?

Enzo Angiolini Jammin pumps in white reptile print

I just found a gorgeous new pair of Enzo Anglioni Jammin pumps in white reptile print. So very comfy and a very nice height for the heel. I think these will be a new summer favourite.

(update: now that I got my new sexy camera working I could actually take a pic of my pair instead of posting a pics of different coloured pair that I found online…)

The perfect black mary janes!

Christina Aguilera - Candyman (shoes)

Christina Aguilera - Candyman (shoes back)

I am tormented by the gorgeous pair of mary janes Christina wears on her Candyman video! Look at the perfect shape! The sexy heel, cute buckle, the ingenious positioning of the strap. That delicate sexy curve of the heel and the back of the shoe! Pure perfection.

What torments me is that I can’t find them from anywhere! I expect them to be Louboutins as that’s all she ever wears, but all the Louboutin mary janes I can find are a totally different shape.

And how incredibly cute are her socks with the little bows? If anyone can tell me where I can buy the shoes or the socks please let me know!

I will not rest until I can prance around in that combination!

Even camping can be pretty

November 3, 2008

I have a confession to make: on weekdays I’m a dolled up glamour puss, but on weekends I step off my heels and go camping/fishing with my partner.

It took a while to get used to the idea of spending money on a pair of shoes with no heels, but I have to say they are worth every cent.

I love these Columbians I got. They’re cross between sandals and trail shoes. Very grippy (important when climbing slippery cliffs to get down to a good fishing spot), dry quickly and nice and cool in the summer.

And not only that, they’re pretty too!

Shoe love at first sight!

November 2, 2008

Today, I saw the most beautiful pair of heels I have ever seen in my entire life!

I was walking down the street when I saw a woman passing with the most incredible shoes I had ever seen. I could not stop myself from gasping out loud when I saw them, and as she walked by, I stared in stunned silence until I had to utter the feeble line ‘I *LOVE* your shoes!’

She smiled and thanked. As she walked past and I kept staring the shoes, I saw the red undersoles. Silly me, of course I did – they were red velvet Louboutins – who bloody well wouldn’t?

When I got home I had to google ‘red velvet Louboutin’ and the first result I got was the same shoes that was made of my wettest dreams.
