Wonderful new perfume!

CHANEL Nº5 Eau Premiere

I’ve been on a lookout for a new perfume for ages. I have a terrible tendency to stick with one for years without being able to find a new one I like.

I’ve been using Calvin Klein Escape for daytime use and Christian Dior Hypnotic Poison for night use for nearly a decade (funnily enough both advertised by the divine Milla Jovovich at the time I began using them).

I still adore both, but somehow feel that Escape doesn’t quite do it for me anymore, as my style has evolved to a much more feminine direction. Just like switching from drinking Strongbow straight out of a bottle to sipping champagne from a tall flute, I feel like my daytime scent needs to evolve to keep up with my style.

I accidentally came across a tester of CHANEL Nº5 Eau Premiere in the latest edition of Harper’s Bazaar and immediately fell in love with it!

I have always liked CHANEL Nº5, but never thought I could quite get away with it. Also, it tends to give me a headache. Eau Premiere however refreshes that same divine scent into a much lighter and more contemporary form. Utterly feminine, classy and delightful!

Now I need to get my hands on a bottle, and Escape can step aside. Hypnotic Poison can still take care of the night shift.
